Pair of Legendary AR 9LS. This pair is about as fine as you are going to find. Surrounds professionally and correctly done to a tee, see pictures. Bass is incredible, and all drivers in beautiful condition. These are definitely full range speakers with a 3db down point at 28Hz and flat response out to 32kHz. There are few speakers out there new or old, regardless of price, that can match the defined bass response of these legendary ARs: usable response is all the way down to 18Hz. But Bass is not only what they are about: The four way crossover with 8" upper bass/lower midrange driver, the 1.5" dome upper midrange driver and .75" high range driver (tweeter) insure that the entire audio frequency spectrum is smoothly covered with exceptional accuracy and detail: all music, from Classical, Jazz, Pop/Dance, Rock/Hard Rock, Grunge, Reggae, etc.,etc., to whatever, sounds right on these speakers. Amplification requirements should not be a problem either: They can be driven to listening levels with as little as 25 watts RMS, yet handle outputs of 400 watts, and beyond.
