- Alan Sircom, hifiplus: « OK, so if you want your electronics to ‘pretty up’ your music, the Prism Sound Callia isn’t for you. Instead, this is one of the most honest DACs you’ll hear. It’s an outstanding and powerful headphone amplifier, too » « An honest, solid, and extremely accurate recommendation » - http://www.hifiplus.com/articles/prism-sound-callia-headphone-dac-preamplifier/
- Dean Seislove - positive-feedback.com: « Although most of the time spent with the Callia was the usual knockabout with faded rock stars and long-gone bluesmen, listening to a number of Brahms pieces played by the Budapest Festival Orchestra, conducted by Ivan Fischer, convinced me that the Callia is an exceptional match for the classical music enthusiast. » « The Prism Sound Callia is a very fine DAC, indeed. The fact that it is also a superb headphone amp/DAC makes it excellent value, too. Recommended » - https://positive-feedback.com/reviews/hardware-reviews/prism-sound-callia/
- John Atkinson - stereophile.com: « The Callia's slightly dry sound was not a problem with non-classical recordings. » « The Callia is, without a doubt, an excellent-sounding DAC » - https://www.stereophile.com/content/prism-sound-callia-da-headphone-amplifier
- Wes Marshall - sounstagexperience.com: « So Prism is one of the good guys. Despite trying to balance the very different needs of sound professionals and home users, they haven’t dumbed down anything or played to anyone’s weaknesses. Most important, they haven’t underestimated the smarts or the needs of either group. The Callia brings everything from the pro side that could be useful and nothing that isn’t needed. The result is a wonderful-sounding component that gives consumers the chance to enjoy the best of Prism’s extensive professional R&D. » -https://www.soundstagexperience.com/index.php/wesworld-menu/feature-articles-reviews-menu/783-the-prism-sound-callia-and-why-consumer-audiophiles-should-buy-professional-gear
- earphonia.com: « As you can tell we are pretty fond of the Callia DAC and we at earphonia.com recommend this DAC if you are seeking a purist neutral style signature which is not too warm but still retains musicality and emotion » https://earphonia.com/digital-audio-players-daps/prism-sound-callia-dac-review-beautiful-voice/
- Chris Groppi - hometheaterhifi.com: « The Prism Sound Callia is an excellent DAC for those of you looking for a well-engineered, well-built, superb sounding DAC without all the streaming bells and whistles found in many modern DACs. Every bit of the Callia is engineered to deliver the best possible sound quality at its price point. I confess I did miss the convenience of Wi-Fi streaming in some applications, but in a system where that isn’t needed, the Callia is a really great DAC that combines fine detail extraction and resolution with a very realistic, 3D presentation. I highly recommend you give this DAC a listen if it’s feature set fits your needs. » - https://hometheaterhifi.com/reviews/dac/prism-sound-callia-dac-review/
